Founder's Story

"Before building Spinely, my journey took me through very different industries and experiences.

I worked as a helicopter pilot for 7 years before moving to Australia. After relocating, life took a different direction and I found myself working in physically demanding roles.

Before COVID, I worked as a truck driver. During the pandemic, I transitioned to driving vans for a large organic food distributor, I know firsthand what it feels like to spend hours sitting behind the wheel with growing discomfort.

Later on, I moved into container unloading, where my small team would handle between 7 to 10 containers a day for major companies, including large tyre distributors. The work was intense, repetitive, and physically exhausting.

Eventually, it caught up with me.

There were periods where I had to take weeks off for physiotherapy and chiropractic treatment. At one point, even getting out of bed in the morning became a challenge.

That’s when everything changed.

I started researching solutions, not as a business idea, but out of necessity. I was simply looking for ways to reduce pain, improve posture, and get through my daily routine without constant discomfort.

Spinely was born from that search.

Today, I spend 4 to 6 hours a day working from a desk, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our customers and deliveries, while still being hands-on with pick and packing.

And even now, I still rely on the same principles and products I once searched for out of necessity."
